i get to see my brother today! I am very excited. he doesn't have any money but I'll see if we can go somewhere because I was given 40 dollars to spend with him and that MIGHT be enough to get us some ramen. we will see.
I am also very excited to see my niece and nephew! they are so sweet and cute and I love them. i also have a gift for them, so that's pretty cool...
I might also see my brothers friend who I think is super cool soooo. nice.
I am really into the song Bombs Over Baghdad by Outkast right now. they just had their anniversary too! and a few other hip-hop songs of course. I found out that in french, they pronounce hip-hop like "eep-ohp". how silly is that? I am also getting into some underground Memphis rap with those crazy phonk kind of beats. I am starting with Tommy Wright III! street shit & meet yo maker are my favorite songs by him right now. my brother might also let me play music for him, so I am excited to impress him with my great music taste...
I love music so bad. I was in marching band, now I'm in concert (and I've been in it since 4th/5th grade). I volunteer for music stuff. I wish I joined jazz band ughhhhhhhhhhh. whatever its ok. I think most of my music taste came from my cousin and my brother cuz that's all I had been hearing you know? especially my cousin. idk where my love for hip-hop came from, cuz it was definitely amplified by my brother, but idek. I think it might've been my cousin cuz he played no more ?s by eazy e for me once and it sparked something in my brain and then I listened to TPAB and got into some other shit and its just a whole thing. I also have a distinct memory of when I heard Kendrick for the first time and it was his song HUMBLE... I think my brother was there, too. I remember really liking it and I hadn't heard anything like it before. music has also just been a great source of comfort for me since literally forever. the entirety of middle school all I did was listen to music.
